The official page asks for: documents proving business activity in Armenia, passport with a notarised Armenian translation, health certificate and photos and proof of fee payment.

How long can I stay on the Armenia freelance visa?
Temporary residence status is given for up to one year. Yes, by one year each time.
How much does the Armenia freelance visa cost?
AMD 105,000 state fee, or AMD 85,000 for US citizens. From 1 November 2026 the fee rises to AMD 150,000.
Who can apply for the Armenia freelance visa?
Open to citizens of any other country. Foreign nationals who run a business in Armenia. Running a business is one of the listed grounds for temporary residence.
Can I bring my family?
The spouse, parent or child of a foreigner with temporary residence status can apply for their own status.
How do I apply?
In person at the Migration and Citizenship Service in Yerevan (Tairov 14), after booking a visit. From 1 November 2026 applications move online. The residence card is issued within 30 days of applying.
