What do I need for the Poland freelance visa?
The official page asks for: CEIDG entry or a company board role as shareholder, proof of business income, staff or growth plans, health insurance, proof of a place to live in Poland and valid passport and biometric photo.
How much money do I need for the Poland freelance visa?
A stable, regular income to live on: PLN 1,010 a month for a single person, or PLN 823 a month for each person in a family. The business itself must also pass an income, jobs or growth test (see notes).
How long can I stay on the Poland freelance visa?
Granted for the time the business needs, from over 3 months up to 3 years. It does not renew by itself. Apply for a new permit before it ends if you still meet the rules.
How much does the Poland freelance visa cost?
PLN 340 stamp duty for the permit and PLN 100 for the residence card.
Who can apply for the Poland freelance visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. For non-EU nationals who run a business in Poland that brings income or jobs, either as a sole trader in CEIDG or as a shareholder on a company board. Many non-EU nationals can only use company forms, such as a limited liability company. Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland can already live in Poland without this visa.
What work can I do on the Poland freelance visa?
Covers work in your own business. A job for another employer, or another role in the business, needs a work permit.
How do I apply?
Online through the MOS portal while staying legally in Poland, then a visit to the voivode's office. Applying from abroad is not allowed. 60 days from a complete application with all documents.
