USD 54 for the visa at the Saint Paul consulate. The New York consulate lists USD 56 in 2026 for a temporary resident visa. The card in Mexico has its own fee.
Who can apply for the Mexico retirement visa?
Open to citizens of any other country. Retirees and pensioners who plan to live in Mexico for good.
How do I apply?
In person at a Mexican consulate, with an interview. After you enter Mexico, you go to the National Migration Institute (INM) for your permanent resident card. Up to 10 working days at the consulate.
