There is no fixed figure. Your pensions and assets must be above the level at which a Swiss person would get supplementary benefits, and must be very likely to last for the rest of your life.

How long do I need to spend in Switzerland?
Switzerland must be the centre of your life. The permit is not renewed if it turns out that your life is mainly based elsewhere.
Does the Switzerland retirement visa lead to permanent residence?
A settlement permit (C) can be given after 10 years in total with a residence permit, if you are well integrated and there are no grounds to refuse it.
How long does the Switzerland retirement visa last?
The first residence permit (B) is usually given for up to 1 year. Yes, usually by up to 2 years at a time.

Each canton sets its own fee, up to a maximum set by federal rules.
Who can apply for the Switzerland retirement visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. People aged 55 or over from outside the EU and EFTA who have stopped working, have special ties to Switzerland and can live on their own money for life.
Can I bring my family?
A spouse and children under 18 can come with you under the normal family reunion rules.
How do I apply?
With the migration office of the canton where you plan to live. The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) must also agree before the permit is given.
