Is the Sri Lanka retirement visa still open?
No. Sri Lanka now only renews this visa for people who already hold it. It does not take new applicants.
What happens to people who already have it?
People who hold it can renew it for 2 years at a time. They keep USD 15,000 in a fixed deposit in a Sri Lankan bank and bring in USD 1,500 a month, plus USD 750 for each dependant.
