Which digital nomad visa needs the lowest income?
In our list, at European Central Bank rates on 9 Oct 2026: Brazil (USD 1,500 a month, about USD 1,500 a month), Malaysia (USD 24,000 a year, about USD 2,000 a month) and Sri Lanka (USD 2,000 a month, about USD 2,000 a month). Andorra, Argentina, Colombia, Curaçao, Czechia, Ecuador, Italy, Kenya, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Seychelles, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand and Uruguay have no set income figure, so they are not in this ranking.
Which one lets you stay the longest?
Thailand: up to 5 years at first. Many others can be renewed. Each country page shows the rule.
Do EU citizens need a digital nomad visa in Europe?
No. Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland can live in each other's countries without one, under free movement rules. They may need to register after 3 months. The EU visas here (12 in our list) are for everyone else.
Is this every digital nomad visa?
