How long can I stay on the Turkey digital nomad visa?
The visa allows a stay of up to 90 days, as stated by the Miami consulate. To stay longer you must contact the Presidency of Migration Management about a residence permit card.
How much does the Turkey digital nomad visa cost?
Fees differ by consulate. The Miami consulate lists USD 60 for a single entry visa and USD 180 for multiple entry. For US citizens it lists USD 185 and USD 265.
Who can apply for the Turkey digital nomad visa?
Open only to citizens of the 36 countries listed below. Remote workers aged 21 to 55 with a university degree. They must work for a company, or have a business contract with a company, that is outside Türkiye. The work contract or business contract must be with a company outside Türkiye. They are: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States.
Can I work for companies in Turkey?
The work contract or business contract must be with a company outside Türkiye.
How do I apply?
First get a Digital Nomad Identification Certificate on the GoTürkiye platform. Then apply for the visa at a Turkish visa centre or consulate. The Los Angeles consulate says it may take up to 30 days after the interview.
