How much does the Latvia digital nomad visa cost?
EUR 90 for a national long-stay (D) visa. EUR 180 if filed less than 3 working days before the legal stay ends.
Who can apply for the Latvia digital nomad visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. Citizens of third countries who work remotely from Latvia. They are employed by an employer registered in an OECD member state, or are self-employed and registered in one. Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland can already live in Latvia without this visa.
Can I work for companies in Latvia?
Remote work visa holders do not have the right to employment in Latvia.
How do I apply?
With the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, through its long-stay (D) visa application route. The page says documents can be sent to the Office by post.
