What income do I need for the Slovenia digital nomad visa?
Monthly funds of at least twice the average monthly net salary in Slovenia. The pages give no euro figure.
How long can I stay on the Slovenia digital nomad visa?
Up to 1 year. The Slovenian page says it runs for the length of the contract, but not more than one year. Cannot be extended. You can apply again 6 months after the permit ends.
How much does the Slovenia digital nomad visa cost?
The official page gives no single fee.
Who can apply for the Slovenia digital nomad visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. Non-EU and non-EEA nationals who work remotely for a business based outside Slovenia, under an employment or civil-law contract, or as self-employed people abroad. Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland can already live in Slovenia without this visa.
Can I bring my family?
Family members can join straight away, with no limit linked to your stay or permit length. You must show extra funds for them.
Can I work for companies in Slovenia?
You do not enter the Slovenian labour market, so the Employment Service work permit is not needed.
How do I apply?
At any Slovenian embassy or consulate abroad. People already legally in Slovenia can apply at any administrative unit.
