What income do I need for the Cyprus digital nomad visa?
At least EUR 3,500 a month, net. This is after contributions and taxes are taken off.
How long can I stay on the Cyprus digital nomad visa?
The first permit is valid for 1 year. Can be renewed. A renewed permit is valid for a maximum of 2 years.
How much does the Cyprus digital nomad visa cost?
EUR 70 for the permit, or for a renewal. EUR 70 more to register in the Aliens' Registry on the first application.
Who can apply for the Cyprus digital nomad visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. People from outside the EU and EEA who work remotely for an employer registered abroad, or who are self-employed with clients located abroad. Citizens of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland can already live in Cyprus without this visa.
Can I bring my family?
Your spouse or civil union partner and your underage children can stay for the same period. They cannot work in Cyprus.
Can I work for companies in Cyprus?
You must work for an employer registered abroad, or serve clients abroad. Family members cannot work or do any economic activity in Cyprus.
How do I apply?
Enter Cyprus first, with a tourist visa if you need one. Then apply within 3 months of arrival at the Migration Department in Nicosia. If you already live in Cyprus legally under another status, you can apply there too. Examination takes between 5 and 7 weeks.
