They either work for a foreign employer with at least 50 staff worldwide, or are self-employed with a Czech trade licence in IT or marketing. Employees stay employed by their foreign employer and do not take a Czech employment contract. Freelancers need a Czech trade licence. They are: Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom and United States.

Can I bring my family?

Spouse, registered partner and children, including dependent adult children, can be included if they apply for a residence permit at the same time.

Can I work for companies in the Czechia?

Employees stay employed by their foreign employer and do not take a Czech employment contract. Freelancers need a Czech trade licence.
