What income do I need for the Thailand digital nomad visa?
The official page gives no set figure. Bank statements for the last three months, each showing a balance of at least THB 500,000.
How long can I stay on the Thailand digital nomad visa?
The visa is valid for 5 years with multiple entries. Each stay can be up to 180 days. One extension of up to 180 days can be asked for at the Thai Immigration Bureau.
How much does the Thailand digital nomad visa cost?
THB 10,000 as set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Embassies take the fee in local money, for example USD 400 in Washington DC and SGD 500 in Singapore. The fee is not refunded.
Who can apply for the Thailand digital nomad visa?
Open to citizens of any other country. Digital nomads, remote workers, freelancers and foreign talent who want a long stay in Thailand. The same visa also covers Thai culture activities such as Muay Thai. Remote work means running business for a company abroad, not in Thailand.
Can I bring my family?
Your spouse and children under 20 can apply for their own DTV.

How do I apply?
Online on the Thai e-Visa portal, or at a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate. Embassies ask for proof that you live in the country where you apply.
