What do I need for the Poland student visa?
The official page asks for: form filled in and signed by the university, proof of tuition paid for the semester or year, health insurance, valid passport, proof of housing costs and fingerprints and signature at the voivode's office, as well as the money to live on.
How much money do I need for the Poland student visa?
After paying for housing, you need more than PLN 1,010 a month if you have no dependants (PLN 823 a month for you and each dependant). You also need money to go home: PLN 2,500 for most countries, PLN 500 for a non-neighbouring EU country and PLN 200 for a neighbouring country.
Do I need to pay tuition before I apply?
If your studies are paid, show proof that you paid the fee for the semester or the academic year.
Can I work while I study in Poland?
With this permit you may work in Poland without a work permit. The page gives no weekly hour limit.
Can I stay in Poland after I graduate?
Graduates of Polish full-time university studies can get this permit once, for 9 months, to look for work or start a business.
How long can I stay on the Poland student visa?
The first permit lasts 15 months, or the length of the course plus 3 months if that is shorter; doctoral school students get 2 years and 6 months. It is not renewed by itself. A new permit can be given for the rest of the studies plus 3 months, up to 3 years.
How much does the Poland student visa cost?

Who can apply for the Poland student visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. People from outside the EU who want to start or carry on full-time studies at a Polish university. The university must be approved by the interior minister.
How do I apply?
In Poland only, during a legal stay: apply online through the MOS portal, then go in person to the voivode's office. Most students first come on a type D national visa from a Polish consulate. The voivode decides within 60 days of a complete application; doctoral school students go first.
