The first permanent residence card is valid for 1 year. After that you get a card valid for 4 years. Yes, the 4-year card is renewed for 4 years at a time.
How much does the Dominican Republic golden visa cost?
RD$42,000 file fee per person (children under 13 too), plus RD$6,300 for the migration medical exam (RD$4,200 under 13) and RD$3,500 for the investment file deposit.
Who can apply for the Dominican Republic golden visa?
Open to citizens of any other country. Foreign investors who bring at least USD 200,000 from abroad into a Dominican company and register the investment with ProDominicana.
Can I bring my family?
The investor's close family members get the same benefits.
How do I apply?
Register the investment with ProDominicana first. Get a residence visa (RS), then apply online on the migration portal (personal.migracion.gob.do) and hand in the original documents in person. The migration office lists 45 working days.
