The lowest minimum is KRW 1,500,000,000, for general investment immigration. Other routes: high-value investment immigration (KRW 3,000,000,000). Fees come on top.

How long do I need to spend in South Korea?
The scheme pages do not set a minimum stay.
Does the South Korea golden visa lead to permanent residence?
On the general route you get F-2 residence and can switch to F-5 permanent residence after keeping the investment for 5 years; you keep F-5 after the money is returned. On the high-value route you get F-5 at once, but lose it if the money is taken out within 5 years.

Can I work on the South Korea golden visa?
F-2 residence allows free economic activity, so you can work or do business.
Who can apply for the South Korea golden visa?
Open to citizens of any other country. Foreigners who invest a set sum in a public fund or a development project chosen by the Minister of Justice. People with criminal records, unpaid taxes or more than 4 immigration breaches are not eligible.
Can I bring my family?
The investor's spouse and unmarried children get the same status.
