How long does the Italy golden visa last?
Two years from the date you enter Italy. Yes, for 3 years at a time, with a new approval from the committee, while you keep the investment.
How much does the Italy golden visa cost?
The 2021 policy guidance lists EUR 30.46 for the permit card, a EUR 50 contribution and a EUR 16 revenue stamp, paid when you apply for the permit.
Can I work on the Italy golden visa?
The permit gives the same rights as Italy's self-employment permit.
Who can apply for the Italy golden visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. Non-EU citizens who invest in Italian bonds, companies or funds, or give a large donation, and keep it for at least 2 years.
Can I bring my family?
Family members who qualify for family reunification can come with you on a family visa.
How do I apply?
Apply online on the Investor Visa for Italy portal for a certificate of no impediment (nulla osta), then for the visa at an Italian consulate, then for the permit at the local police office (Questura) within 8 days of arriving. The committee gives its answer within 30 days of its review starting.
