How much do I need to invest for the Malaysia golden visa?
The lowest minimum is USD 32,000, for Forest City zone, age 50 and over: deposit plus a home. Other routes: Forest City zone, age 21 to 49: deposit plus a home (USD 65,000), Silver: deposit plus a MYR 600,000 home (USD 150,000), Gold: deposit plus a MYR 1 million home (USD 500,000) and Platinum: deposit plus a MYR 2 million home (USD 1,000,000). Fees come on top.
What can I invest in for the Malaysia golden visa?

How long do I need to spend in Malaysia?
If you are under 50, you must spend 90 days a year in Malaysia; the days of the main applicant and family can be added together. There is no minimum stay from age 50.
Does the Malaysia golden visa lead to permanent residence?
The MM2H pages do not describe a path to permanent residence. The pass is a renewable long-stay pass.
How long does the Malaysia golden visa last?
5 years for Silver, 10 years for the special zone category, 15 years for Gold and 20 years for Platinum. Yes. After the category's full term, the pass can be renewed every 5 years.
How much does the Malaysia golden visa cost?
MYR 5,000 processing fee for the main applicant (MYR 2,500 per dependant), plus a one-off participating fee of MYR 1,000 (Silver and special zone), MYR 3,000 (Gold) or MYR 200,000 (Platinum).
Can I work on the Malaysia golden visa?
Only Platinum holders may work or run a business. Silver, Gold and special zone holders may not.
Who can apply for the Malaysia golden visa?
Open to citizens of any other country. Foreigners aged 25 or over (21 or over for the special zone category) who place a fixed deposit in a Malaysian bank and buy a home in Malaysia.
Can I bring my family?
A spouse, children under 21 (or 21 to 34 if single and not working), children with disabilities, and parents or parents-in-law. Platinum holders can also bring a foreign maid.
How do I apply?
Through an MM2H operator licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, at the MM2H One Stop Centre. The Immigration Department gives the final approval.
