The lowest minimum is EUR 1,000,000, for Estonian company that invests in Estonia. Other routes: fund that invests mainly in Estonian companies (EUR 1,000,000). Fees come on top.

How long do I need to spend in Estonia?
The official pages do not set a number of days. You must register your address in Estonia within one month and keep it registered while the permit is valid.
Does the Estonia golden visa lead to permanent residence?
After 5 years in Estonia on a temporary residence permit you can apply for a long-term resident's residence permit, which has permanent validity. You need Estonian at level B1, a registered address, stable income and Estonian health insurance.
How long does the Estonia golden visa last?
Up to 5 years. Yes, for up to 10 years at a time.
How much does the Estonia golden visa cost?
EUR 350 if you apply in Estonia, or EUR 380 at an Estonian embassy or consulate (state fees from 1 January 2025).
Can I work on the Estonia golden visa?
The permit is issued for business activity in Estonia, and you must keep meeting that purpose or it can be revoked.
Who can apply for the Estonia golden visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. Non-EU citizens who make a permanent direct investment of at least EUR 1 million in an Estonian company or in a fund that invests mainly in Estonian companies.
Can I bring my family?
Your spouse and children can apply for residence permits to settle with you. Their permits last no longer than yours.
How do I apply?
In person at an Estonian embassy or consulate abroad, or at a Police and Border Guard Board service office in Estonia. A decision within 90 days, then the residence permit card within 30 days.
