How much do I need to invest for the France golden visa?
The lowest minimum is EUR 300,000, for direct investment in a French business. Fees come on top.
How long do I need to spend in France?
The official page does not set a minimum stay for this card. For the 10-year EU long-term resident card you must not be away more than 6 months in a row or 10 months in total.
Does the France golden visa lead to permanent residence?
After 5 years in France with a talent card you can ask for a 10-year EU long-term resident card. You need French at B1 level, stable income at least equal to the minimum wage and proof of integration.
How long does the France golden visa last?
Up to 4 years. You apply online for a new card 2 to 4 months before your current card ends.
How much does the France golden visa cost?
EUR 350 in tax stamps when you collect the card (EUR 50 stamp duty plus EUR 300 tax).
Can I work on the France golden visa?
The card lets you live in France and carry on the business activity linked to your project.
Who can apply for the France golden visa?
Open to people from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. Non-EU citizens who invest at least EUR 300,000 in a French business, personally or through a company they run or own at least 30% of, and who create or save jobs.
Can I bring my family?
Your spouse and children under 18 can come with you on a simpler procedure and get a multi-year talent family card.
How do I apply?
Apply for a talent long-stay visa at the French consulate in your country of residence. Once in France, apply online (ANEF) for the card within 2 months of arrival. No set time is published. If the prefecture has not replied after 4 months, the application counts as refused.
