Is the UK golden visa still open?
No. The UK closed the Tier 1 (Investor) visa to new applicants from all countries at 16:00 GMT on 17 February 2022.
What happens to people who already have it?
People who already hold this visa can apply to settle (indefinite leave to remain) if they apply before 17 February 2028. Applications to extend the visa had to be made before 17 February 2026.
